LinksAbout MeI received my B.S. from Virginia Tech in Psychology with a Minor in English, my M.A. from Virginia Tech in English, with a specialty in Rhetoric and Composition. In 2008, I received my Ph.D. from the University of Georgia in English, with specialties in Rhetoric and Composition, Theory, and Humanities Computing.
I currently serve as Associate Director of ePortfolio Initiatives at Virginia Tech. We are a part of Learning Technologies, which is a division of Information Technologies. I live in Blacksburg, VA with my husband, sons, and chocolate lab. Each day we are thankful to live surrounded by beautiful mountains and close to so much of our family. |

Virginia Tech ePortfolios are a hot topic in higher education right now. It's exciting to be a part of something that has such transformative potential. Most important, though, is to never lose sight of the pedagogical implications of ePortfolios. This is why I value most eFolio Thinking (to learn more about Folio Thinking, check out all of Helen Chen's amazing work!). Current Interests
